We are creating participatory and educational exhibits including visual displays designed to depict the effect of railroads on the people and economy of Chenango County. In one exhibit we will recreate the New York Ontario & Western railroad yard in Norwich, NY.

In time, we intend to enlarge this layout to include the portion of the NYO&W railroad from Norwich to Cadosia, NY.

It is our intention to generate interest in the railroad influence in our county's history  through the use of these models as well as visual displays, printed information and guided tours of our facility. We hold our regular meetings on the

In our other exhibit series we intend to show the different types of Model trains including O-scale, Oz7-scale, and N- Scale. Showing how they have changed over time. There will be an operating layout featuring the large scale models as well.

We also have work sessions for society members to work on displays and building projects. If there is a session scheduled outside the usual time and place, we contact people either by telephone or email with the pertinent information.  Make you get on our notification list to insure you are notified of upcoming events.

We strongly encourage anyone who has an interest in railroads both model and full-size to come and join us in our endeavor. Everyone is welcome.
